Red Deer Rebels Make Nine Picks In WHL Bantam Draft

Red Deer Rebels News Release
RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, President/Owner of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced the team selected nine players in today's Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. With the first overall selection, the Rebels took forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins from the Burnaby Winter Club.
All the players selected today are not eligible to play full time in the Western Hockey League until the 2009-2010 season.
