Rebels Select Leschyshyn In The First Round

RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the selection of forward Jake Leschyshyn in the first round, 6th overall, in the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Leschyshyn played 'AA' Bantam with Saskatoon Stallions team, scoring 31 goals and 28 assists for 59 points and 69 penalty minutes in 31 games.

Jake is the son of former WHL and NHL defenceman Curtis Leschyshyn.
