Raiders Make 3rd and 4th Round Selections

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders took defenceman Cody Thompson with their third round pick, 52nd overall, in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft taking place today in Calgary.

The 6'3", 185-pound blueliner hails from Killarney, Manitoba and played 29 games for the Southwest Cougars, scoring 8 goals and adding 11 assists for 19 points along with 44 penalty minutes.

The Raiders used their 76th overall selection in the 4th round to select centre Josh Maser from Penticton, British Columbia. Maser, who stands 6' and 185-pounds, scored 72 goals and 55 assists for 127 points in 61 games for his hometown Bantam Vees.
