Regina, Saskatchewan - The Western Hockey League Bantam Draft begins this morning in Calgary. The Pats make their first selection (13th overall) which will take place sometime after 8:30 a.m. The Blue and White are projected to make their following pick in the 35th spot of the draft. Recent first round selections include Sam Steel (2nd - 2013), Morgan Klimchuk (5th - 2010) and Chandler Stephenson (5th - 2009). The second round has seen the Pats select Liam Schioler (28th - 2013), Brady Reagan (31st - 2012) and Adam Brooks (25th - 2011).

After the second round, the Pats aren't scheduled to pick again until the fifth round of the draft. This season, Regina featured three players in the lineup who were picked in the fifth round: Rylee Zimmer (2012), Austin Wagner (2012) and Dyson Stevenson (2008).
