Regina, Saskatchewan - With their 5th round pick (101st Overall) in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft, the Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to select defenceman Riley Bruce.

Bruce (5'11", 151 lbs) played with the Winnipeg Hawks in 2013-14, totaling 23 points (6G, 17A) and 165 penalty minutes in 28 games this season. He added 8 points (3G, 5A) and 65 penalty minutes in ten playoff games.

"Riley plays hard, skates well and is a very tough defender to play against," said Regina Pats Senior VP and General Manager Chad Lang of the club's 5th round selection.

The Pats next selection will be in the 6th round, 123rd overall after the Blue and White re-acquired their 6th round pick in this year's draft from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for Regina's 2015 6th round selection. The Pats' 2014 6th round pick was originally traded to Everett in exchange for Tye Hand before moving to Lethbridge in a trade for Remi Laurencelle and now once again belonging to the Pats.
