Pushkarev Returns To Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have assigned right wing Konstantin Pushkarev to the Monarchs, Kings President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.
Pushkarev, 21, made his Kings/NHL debut and collected his first NHL point - an assist - on March 27 at Vancouver. He has one point and zero penalty minutes in one game with the Kings this season. In addition, the 6-foot, 180-pound native of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan has a team-leading 18 goals and 32 points (18-14=32) in 71 games with the Monarchs this season. The Kings selected Pushkarev in the second-round (44th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Monarchs will host the Springfield Falcons at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Wednesday, April 5 at 7:05 p.m.
