Lizon Signs Amateur Tryout Agreement With Monarchs

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed right wing Erick Lizon to an amateur tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Lizon, 21, has 23 points (11-12=23) and 127 penalty minutes in 65 games with the Victoriaville Tigres of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League this season. The 6-foot-4, 199-pound native of Kitchener, Ontario, has played with the Tigres for the past two seasons (2004-05 and 2005-06) and compiled 34 points (14-20=34) and 230 penalty minutes in 103 career games. Lizon will wear number 26 for the Monarchs.

The Monarchs will host the Springfield Falcons at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Wednesday, April 5 at 7:05 p.m.
