Falcons Host Old Time Hockey Night

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they will host their 1st Annual Old Time Hockey Night at the MassMutual Center on Saturday, April 8 featuring a book signing from 6-7:00 PM with Jim Mancuso, author of "Hockey In Springfield." Joining Mancuso at the book signing will be former Falcons captain Rob Murray, as well as Springfield Hockey Hall of Fame inductees Ted Shore and Jim Anderson.

Fans purchasing the "Hockey In Springfield" book that evening will receive a free Calder Cup poster, as the AHL's championship trophy will also be on display for fans to view. Following Saturday's contest, current Falcons center Jason Jaspers will be signing autographs.

The Falcons return home this weekend for a pair of home games when they host the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, April 7 at 7:35 PM, followed by the Providence Bruins on Saturday, April 8 starting at 7:05 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
