Greenville Grrrowl News Release

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that "Point of Grace" will be the featured act performing in a post-game concert this Friday night, February 27th. As had become the tradition for the Grrrowl, CHURCH NIGHT has presented some of the most recognized contemporary Christian artists over the past four seasons, and Friday's show will be no exception. The concert will begin immediately after the Grrrowl take on the Charlotte Checkers in an ECHL hockey game, face-off is at 7:05pm at the BI-LO Center.

"Point of Grace" has produced 21 consecutive #1 radio singles, one platinum record, four gold records, and multiple Grammy and Dove Awards. Point Of Grace's dedication to their music, lives and their faith has resulted in one of the most highly profiled careers of any group, in or outside the Christian music arena. And, due to much clamoring from a substantial fan base, Word Records finally releases the group's long-awaited project, Rarities & Remixes. The response remains phenomenal for the foursome (called the "hottest" group in Christian music by The New York Times Magazine), and one of the brightest success stories in recent musical history.

As has been the case with the popularity of Church Night activities, a huge crowd is already anticipated, with less than 1,500 tickets remaining for Friday's game.

Greenville will host the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday (2/24) morning – 10:35am – for Education Day, and then again on Friday (2/27). The Grrrowl will finish the 5-game home stand by hosting the Gwinnett Gladiators on Saturday (2/28) at 7:05pm, before returning to Gwinnett on Sunday afternoon – a 4:05pm face-off. Greenville Grrrowl single-game tickets, mini-plans and flex packs are on sale now. Fans can call 864-467-GRRR or log on to grrrowl.com for more information.
