
Hersh and Barozzino To Play In Mr. Manatees Alumni Game

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that former players Harold Hersh and Dave Barozzino will be playing in the Mr. Manatee's Alumni Game on Friday, March 5th at 6:05 p.m. Following the Mr. Manatee's Alumni Game, the Ice Pilots will play San Diego at 8:05 p.m. The game ticket for that night is good for both games.
Hersh played forward for the Ice Pilots during the 1999-2000 season and was the team's captain scoring 17 goals, 30 assists for 47 points and picking up 38 penalty minutes in 65 regular season games. He also played in the three playoff games for the Ice Pilots during that season.
Hersh recently got national attention as a celebrity in the month of January as one of the contestants on ABC's "Bachlorette."
Barozzino played for the Ice Pilots during the first season playing in 57 games during the regular season scoring 16 goals, 27 assists for 43 points and picked up 121 penalty minutes and played in 12 playoff games scoring 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points and picked up 24 penalty minutes.
Hersh and Barozzino will join former players Shane Calder, Kelly Hultgren, Nick Stajduhar, Scott Malone, Chad Quenneville, Brandon Gray, Andrew Rodgers, Scott LaGrand, Sam Deitelbaum, Etienne Beaudry, Jon Dunmar, Jon Rowe, former Head Coach Al Pedersen and former Assistant Coach George Kozak in the Mr. Manatee's Alumni Game.
The game will also feature members of the media, senior league players and the Jr. Ice Pilots. The game will be two fifteen minute periods with a five minute game between the alumni players and Junior Ice Pilots to follow.
The alumni players and original Ice Pilots players will be wearing old-timer sweaters during the games that will be auctioned off after the game at "The Hangar." Proceeds will go to the Florida Restaurant Association Educational Fo undation and the Children's Home Society.
The Ice Pilots can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-PUCK.
The Ice Pilots continue their seven game road trip tomorrow night at South Carolina at 6:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will return home on Saturday vs. Louisiana at 7:05 p.m. It is Scout Night. Boys and Girls Scouts can get discount on tickets by calling 432-PUCK.
