Pride to honor West Florence football team on Friday

FLORENCE, SC â The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today that the team will hold West Florence Night this Friday when they host the Columbia Inferno at 7:30 p.m.
During the second intermission of the game, the Pride will recognize the West Florence High School football team, which ended the season as state runners-up. Florence Mayor Frank Willis will be in attendance, and will issue a proclamation recognizing the team's accomplishments during the 2003 season.
Following the Pride game that night, the Florence Knights High School hockey team will take to the ice against the Lexington 5 Fusion. The Knights team is made up of students from West Florence, South Florence, Wilson, Trinity, and Lake City high schools. Fans must have a ticket for the Pride game to be able to attend the high school game.
Friday night is also Boy Scout Night at the Lion's Den. Discounted tickets are available for all area Boy Scouts and their families. For more information, or to order your tickets, call the Pride office at (843) 669-7825.
The Pride are now accepting season-ticket renewals for the 2004-2005 season. Season-ticket holders can drop off their application at the Pride office from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; mail it to 3300 West Radio Drive, Florence, SC 29501; or drop it off at the Customer Service Table during all Pride home games. Fans interested in becoming Pride season-ticket holders for next season can call the Pride office for more information.
