Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL are proud to announce Benchmark Mortgage as the sponsor for the special "Face-Off Against Kids Cancer" jerseys the Bullies will wear during home games on March 17 and 19.

"I believe this is a wonderful program put together by the Bullies, and I'm thrilled to offer my support in any way possible," said Joe Scrocca, President of Benchmark Mortgage.

On January 27, the Bullies commenced the "Face-Off Against Kids Cancer" with 20 children from South Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania who suffer from early stages of pediatric cancer. Over the past month, the players and children have gotten together for a pizza party at Chuck E. Cheese, a movie matinee at Ventnor Movie Theater, and a tour of the locker room at Boardwalk Hall following a Bullies game.

"Face-Off Against Kids Cancer" will culminate on Wednesday, March 17 and Friday, March 19 when the Bullies take the ice wearing special commemorative jerseys dedicated to each child. During both games and through March 31, the jerseys will be auctioned off in a special silent auction. All proceeds will benefit Caps For Kids, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing hats signed by athletes and entertainers to kids who lose their hair due to chemotherapy treatments of cancer, and duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.

Benchmark Mortgage is a leader in providing Jersey Shore owners with the best mortgage services.

The Bullies take to the road this week to battle the Reading Royals at 7:05PM on Tuesday and the Dayton Bombers at 7PM on Wednesday. Catch all the action live on ESPN Radio 1450AM and the Surfer Network at www.boardwalkbullies.com.
