
Blades post 2-1-1 week and move into second place

The Florida Everblades picked up 4 out of a possible 6 points on the road this past week after they defeated the Augusta Lynx 4-3 in a shootout on Friday night, shut out the Florence Pride 3-0 on Saturday and fell to the Columbus Cottonmouths 5-3on Sunday afternoon. Florida ranks second in the ECHL's Southern Division and has gone 4-1-1 in their last six games. Florida forward Brian McCullough ranks in first place in the ECHL in scoring with 71 points. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Fort Myers location tonight with player guest Paul Esdale.

The Florida Everblades (26-19-10) lost to the Pensacola Ice Pilots (25-17-6) 3-2 in overtime before a crowd of 5,964 at TECO Arena Tuesday night.
Friday, February 20 @ Augusta 4-3 SOW
The Florida Everblades (27-19-10) defeated the Augusta Lynx (21-25-6) 4-3 in a shootout in front of 3,907 at the Augusta Civic Center on Friday night. Florida forward Paul Vincent picked up one goal and two assists and Rob Zepp stopped all four Augusta shooters in the shootout to catapult the Everblades in sole possession of second place in the Southern Division.
Saturday, February 21 @ Florence 3-0 W
The Florida Everblades (28-19-10) shut out the Florence Pride (21-26-6) 3-0 at the Florence Civic Center on Saturday night. Florida goaltender Jeff Maund picked up his third shutout of the season and forward John McNabb and defenseman Tim O'Connell both picked up their first goals in an Everblade uniform
Sunday, February 22 @ Columbia 3-5 L
The Florida Everblades (28-20-10) were defeated by the Columbia Inferno (33-16-6) 5-3 in front of 3,433 at the Carolina Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.
