The Dayton Bombers will return home for a Wednesday meeting (2/25, 7:00 p.m.) against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies at the Ervin J. Nutter Center, then kick off a five-game road sequence with a "three-in-three" this weekend. Fans can enjoy Happy Hour (6-7:30 p.m.) at the Bombers' game on Wednesday. Wednesday, February 25, 2004 vs. Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (7:00 p.m.)- Enjoy Happy Hour at the Ervin J. Nutter Center Bombers' game from 6-7:30 p.m. Bud Light Drafts will be available for just one dollar during this session. Fans can benefit through this great way to take a break from work. In addition, the Kettering Ice Force Skate Team will be performing in the first intermission. The Bombers will host the Boardwalk Bullies for the second and final time this season. The only previous meeting came on January 8 at the Nutter Center. The Boardwalk Bullies prevailed 5-2.
Friday, February 27, 2004 @ Trenton Titans (7:30 p.m./ 7:15 p.m. broadcast time on WUDR-99.5 FM and www.daytonbombers.com in association with www.broadcast monsters.com)- The Bombers will compete against Trenton in the first of three remaining head-to-head meetings. The Bombers will host the Titans for games on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13 (7:00 p.m. start times). The Bombers are 2-2 against Trenton this season and are 1-2 in games played at Sovereign Bank Arena.
Saturday, February 28, 2004 @ Roanoke Express (7:30 p.m./ 7:15 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com in association with www.broadcastmonsters.com)- The Bombers are 1-1 against the Express this season. Both previous tilts have been played on the Bombers' home ice, including a Bombers' 2-1 shootout win in a "Turn Back the Clock" Night game at Hobart Arena on Wednesday, January 28.

RECAP OF GAMES PLAYED LAST WEEK:
2/20/04- BOMBERS 2 @ Peoria 1- Chad Theuer's second short-handed goal of the season with 18 seconds remaining in the second period broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Dayton Bombers to a 2-1 victory over the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois Friday night. Theuer stole the puck from defenseman Joe Vandermeer at the Bombers' line, then sped into the Peoria zone on a breakaway to beat goalie Levente Szuper for his 13th goal of the season. Just 2:28 earlier, Fraser Clair had helped the Bombers tie the score at one with his 11th goal of the campaign. Defensemen Sean Connolly and Grady Moore sprung Clair free. He moved into Peoria territory, deked Szuper, then lifted the puck over him on the backhand. Goalie Andrew Penner made 34 saves for the Bombers in the win, 15 in the third period. Colin Hemingway scored for Peoria in the first.
2/22/04- BOMBERS 0 @ Johnstown 4- Steve Hildenbrand, Dominic Forget, and Jeff Zehr each had a goal and an assist as the Johnstown Chiefs topped the Dayton Bombers 4-0 at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, PA on Sunday afternoon. Brent Kelly added an empty net goal for Johnstown. Goalie David Currie made 31 saves in the shutout for Johnstown.
BOMBERS' BITES: Chad Theuer has registered the game-winning goal in the last three Dayton Bombers' wins ... Goalie Andrew Penner started his fifth consecutive game on Sunday, the most by a Bombers' goaltender this season ... After the Bombers' five-game road sequence that begins on Friday and ends on Saturday, March 6, the Bombers will play seven straight home games and ten of their remaining 13 games on home ice.

- On Tuesday, February 24, Alex Johnstone, Janne Jokila, and Bucky are slated to appear at The Mac Depot at 2025 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering (643-2667) for an autograph signing (6-8 p.m.). Fans can get their picture taken with the Bombers' in attendance, using the latest iLife software. The Mac Depot will be demonstrating how easy it is to shoot and print digital photos using iPhoto, part of the new iLife software from Apple. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the event as well.
