Lynx Unveil SlapShot Team Trivia Contest
February 23, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx have an exciting new contest on tap for our next home game, Thursday, February 26, when the Pensacola Ice Pilots come to town for a 7:05 p.m. contest.
Teams of up to five people can register and participate in our first SlapShot Team Trivia contest for the chance to win a night for 10 people in one of the luxury boxes at Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center for an upcoming game, as well as a $15 gift certificate for each team member good for Lynx merchandise at the Passport International stand at the arena.
Throughout the game, we will be asking Lynx and general hockey trivia questions, with each question assigned a point value.
After each question, teams will have five minutes to submit their answers at the SlapShot Trivia Table. At the end of the night, we'll tabulate the points and determine the winner.
SlapShot Team Trivia will return three more times this season â on Sunday, March 14 when the Lynx take on the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 4:05 p.m.; Sunday, March 21, at 4:05 p.m., when the Roanoke Express come to town, and on Thursday, April 1, when the Lynx take on the Columbus Cottonmouths at 7:05 p.m.
So brush up on your Augusta Lynx, ECHL and NHL knowledge, and join us this Thursday night for SlapShot Team Trivia. Tickets for all remaining home games are available through all TicketMaster locations, on line at www.TicketMaster.com, or charge by phone at (706) 828-7700.
