Wednesday, February 16 Wheeling 3 @ San Diego 2 (SO)
This game was the third of the season between the Nailers and the Gulls with the Nailers having won the first two games in Wheeling. Brian Gornick gave San Diego a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 3:35 of the second period. Ed McGrane tied the game for the Nailers with an unassisted goal at 8:24. San Diego reclaimed the lead 30 seconds later with another power play goal. The Nailers tied the game 2-2 at one minute of the third period on Curtiss Patrick's second goal of the season. Steve Crampton and Alex Rouleau assisted on the goal. The Nailers outscored the Gulls 2-1 in the shootout for the win. Joe Exter made 16 saves for the win.
Thursday, February 17 Wheeling 4 @ Bakersfield 2
The Condors scored a power play goal at 15:46 of the first period to take a 1-0 lead over the Nailers. Steve Crampton tied the game for Wheeling with a power play goal at 18:41 from Ed McGrane and Alex Rouleau. The Nailers took a 2-1 lead on an Evgeny Lazarev goal at 10:28 of the second period. Crampton scored his second power play goal at 3:19 of the third period to give Wheeling a 3-1 lead. Former Nailer Ryan Gillis got the Condors back to within one at 3-2 with a goal at 8:03. Lazarev ended the scoring at 9:44 of the final period to give the Nailers a 4-2 lead. Joe Exter made 40 saves on 42 shots for the win.
Sunday, February 20 Wheeling 3 @ Reading 4 (OT)
Reading scored two first period power play goals to take a 2-0 lead. Both goals were scored by Cail MacLean. Ed McGrane scored a power play goal 14 seconds into the second period to get the Nailers back to within one goal at 2-1. Evgeny Lazarev scored an unassisted goal at 2:50 to tie the game. Wheeling took a 3-2 lead at 2:09 of the third period on a Ray DiLauro power play goal. Reading tied the game 3-3 at 7:33 of the final period. The Royals won the game on Tom Galvin goal at 3:56 of overtime. Joe Exter made 21 saves on 25 shots in the overtime loss.

Friday, February 25 Trenton @ Wheeling 7:30p.m.
The Nailers return home for the first time since February 6th to host Trenton. It will be WOVK Redneck Night with intermission entertainment designed to have fun with a country theme. The Nailers are 5-0-0 against the Titans this season, 3-0-0 in Wheeling.
Saturday, February 26 Atlantic City @ Wheeling 7:30p.m.
The Nailers will have a live post-game concert with New Method for the Nailers Faith and Family night. This will be the fifth game of the season against the Bullies. The Nailers are 3-1-0 against Atlantic City, 1-1-0 in Wheeling.
Nailers Player of the Week:
The Nailers Player of the Week is Ed McGrane. McGrane had five points in three games last week on two goals and three assists. McGrane had a goal on Wednesday, three assists on Thursday and one goal on Sunday. He played a +3 for the week.
Nailers Goaltender of the Week:
The Nailers Goaltender of the Week is Joe Exter. Exter was 2-0-1 in three games last week. He made 77 saves on 85 shots for a .906 save percentage. His goals against average was 2.54.
