Johnstown Chiefs News Release
The Johnstown Chiefs (19-18-11; 49 PTS; 7th North div.) gained some ground in the division last week after going 4-0-0. The Chiefs picked up road wins in Peoria and Dayton and wins at home versus Dayton and Trenton. This week the Chiefs will play four games beginning Tuesday night in Reading. Friday and Saturday they are at Toledo. The Chiefs wrap up the busy week Sunday at home versus Trenton. The Chiefs are currently in seventh place in the North division, trailing sixth place Peoria by four points. The Chiefs are eleven points out of a playoff spot.

Game #45 (2/15/05) Johnstown 3 - PEORIA 2 (OT) Tallari Game Winner
The Johnstown Chiefs picked up their first shoot out win of the year Tuesday night in Peoria. Chad Cavanagh and Joe Tallari scored the Johnstown goals. Chiefs net minder David Cann made 27 saves in the contest. The win stopped a six game winless streak for the Chiefs (0-5-1).
Game #46 (2/18/05) Johnstown 2 - DAYTON 1 (OT) Cann 34 Saves
Joe Tallari's goal 0:53 into overtime lifted the Chiefs over the Dayton Bombers 2-1 Friday night at the Nutter Center. Chad Cavanagh scored the other Johnstown goal. Goaltender David Cann made 34 saves for his second consecutive win. Brett Nowak scored the Dayton goal.
Game #47 (2/19/05) JOHNSTOWN 4 - Dayton 2 Desrochers, Cavanagh Goal ,Assist
The Johnstown Chiefs extended their winning streak to three games Saturday night, with their 4-2 win over the Dayton Bombers in front of 3,237 at the War Memorial Arena. Chad Cavanagh and Jean Desrochers led the Chiefs with a goal and an assist. Joe Tallari and David Bowman also scored for Johnstown. Mathieu Brunelle and Aaron Foster scored the Dayton goals. Chiefs goaltender David Cann picked up the win making 31 saves. Dayton goaltender Michael Ayers made 25 saves in the contest.
Game #48 (2/20/05) JOHNSTOWN 3 - Trenton 2 Tallari Two Goals
Joe Tallari scored two goals Sunday afternoon to lead the Chiefs to their fourth straight win as they defeated the visiting Trenton Titans 3-2 at the War Memorial. Shawn Mather scored the Chiefs other goal. David Cann picked up the win making 33 saves including 14 in the third period.

Tuesday night the Chiefs head to Reading to take on the third place Royals (28-14-5, 61 PTS; 3rd North div.). The Chiefs are 2-0-1 against Reading this season and 16-8-2 all-time. The Royals are 6-2-2 in their last ten games.

Friday and Saturday the Chiefs travel to Toledo for a pair of games with the Storm (29-18-4, 62 PTS; 2nd North div.). The Chiefs are 2-3-0 against the Storm this season. The Storm is 16-6-1 at home this season and 6-4-0 in their last ten games.

Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs take on the Trenton Titans (26-16-7, 59 PTS; 5th North div.) for the ninth of ten games this season. The Chiefs are 2-2-4 against the Titans this season. Five of the eight games this season have been decided by one goal. The Titans are 5-4-1 in their last ten games.
