Tuesday, March 19 Wheeling 0 @ Roanoke 2
For the first and only time this season the Nailers traveled to Roanoke to play the Express. The two teams played each other three times prior to this meeting, each time in Wheeling, with the Nailers going 1-2-0 in those games. The Nailers were held in check by Express goaltender Daniel Berthiaume, who made 33 saves for the shutout win. It was the fourth time this season the Nailers failed to score a goal in a game. Neither team scored in the first period with shots even at 11-11. In the second period the Express took a 1-0 lead at 8:07. Roanoke increased their lead to 2-0 on the only other goal of the game at 16:17 of the second period. Tyler MacKay made 32 s aves on 34 shots in the loss.
Friday, March 22 Atlantic City 4 @ Wheeling 1
Atlantic City took a 1-0 lead at 2:18 of the opening period and never lost the lead. The Boardwalk Bullies increased their lead to 2-0 at 15:07 of the first period and ended the first period scoring with their third goal at18:01. Wheeling got to within two goals at 3-1 with a power play goal at 1 1:43 of the second period. J.C. Ruid scored the goal with Kurt Drummond an d Chris Wells getting the assists. At 18:49 of the third period, Atlantic City scored an empty net goal for the 4-1 win. Joel Laing started the game in goal for the Nailers and gave up three goals on 15 shots. Tyler MacKay played the second and third periods and made 15 saves on 15 shots. The Nailers out-shot the Boardwalk Bullies 44-31 in the game.
Saturday, March 23 Toledo 3 @ Wheeling 2
For the second game in a row the Nailers fell behind 3-0. Toledo scored at 9:26 of the opening period to take a 1-0 lead through 20 minutes of hockey. In the second period the Storm scored two power play goals for their 3-0 advantage. The goals came at 4:13 and 8:27 of the second period. The Nailers cut the Toledo lead to two goals when Chris Wells scored at 17:32 of t he second. Dylan Gyori and Mike Hurley assisted on the goal. Wheeling got to within one goal at 13:42 of the third period on a J.C. Ruid goal from Kurt Drummond and Dmitri Doulebenets. The Nailers were unable to tie the score and lost their fourth consecutive game and fell out of a playoff position. Tyler MacKay made 18 saves on 21 shots in the loss.
Sunday, March 24 Wheeling 3 @ Toledo2 (SO)
J.C. Ruid scored a power play goal at 14:29 of the opening period to give the Nailers a 1-0 lead, with J.P. Soucy and Mike Hurley getting the assists. It was the first time the Nailers had a lead in a game for over 12 period s of hockey. Toledo tied the game 1-1 with a power play goal at 16:39 of the first period. Dmitri Doulebenets gave the Nailers a 2-0 lead with the only goal of the second period. Mark Major and J.C. Ruid assisted on the go al. Toledo tied the game 2-2 at 6:45 of the third period. The game went to a shootout with Ruid getting the game winning goal to give the Nailers the 3-2 win and end the teams four game losing streak. Tyler MacKay made 39saves on 41 shots in regulation and made four saves on five shots in the shootout for the win.

Friday, March 29 Wheeling @ Reading 7:05p.m.
The Nailers begin their final weekend of the regular season in Reading. This will be the final game of the season between the Nailers and the Royals with the Nailers going 3-3-0 in the first six games.
Saturday, March 30 Dayton @ Wheeling 7:30p.m.
This will be the final regular season home game for the Nailers. It will be Fan Appreciation Night at the Wheeling Civic Center with prizes handed out to the fans throughout the game and the first 2,000 fans will receive Rally Towels courtesy of Dick=92s Sporting Goods. The Nailers are 3-4-0 against the Bombers this season.
