Mysticks Collect Food for the Needy

March 25, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Mobile Mysticks News Release

The Mobile Mysticks in conjunction with the Mysticks Booster Club will deliver over 1,000 pounds of canned food items to the Bay Area Food Bank, area soup kitchens and other programs of need this Tuesday afternoon. During four games over the past month, The Mysticks have been collecting canned food items to donate to the needy for the Easter Holiday. Mysticks fans that brought a canned food item to the Dungeon received a rally towel courtesy of Nextel.

"The Mysticks organization is grateful to all our fans and who helped us collect so much food," said Mysticks General Manager Brian Genard. "It's always nice to give back to the community, especially during the holidays." Following the Mysticks Tuesday morning practice from 10 - 11:15 a.m., the Mysticks players and program supporters will pose for pictures with the food.

Gwin's team photo night is this Saturday. Get your Mysticks team photo poster when the Pensacola Ice Pilots visit the Mobile Civic Center this weekend for a 7:30 showdown on March 30th.
