Pre-game Festivities Highlight Fun Filled Weekend
ANCHORAGE, AK âThe Anchorage Aces have lots in store for fans attending this weekend's games against the Idaho Steelheads.
On Friday, the first 300 fans who bring three cans of food or donate $5.00 to Catholic Social Services will receive a Boomer Bobblehead courtesy of Subway. These are the last remaining of the special edition bobbleheads. Then during the first intermission, Anchorage Chrysler Dodge will present the March Player of the Month.
Then on Saturday, the Aces have scheduled a tent party to take place in the parking lot at the Sullivan Arena from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. All fans are encouraged to join the festivities. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available courtesy of Costco Wholesale. Coca-Cola of Alaska will provide drinks. Players will make appearances throughout the event thanking the fans for the support during the season. Digi-Pics will be on hand to take photos of your favorite Ace. Bob & Mark of 100.5 the Fox will provide door prizes. The first 1500 fans through the doors will receive Aces Trading Cards courtesy of ACS Wireless.
Idaho will be in town for games Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Game time is 7:00 pm for all three games. All home and road games can be heard on KFQD 750 AM or via the internet at www.anchorageaces.com with Fred Rannard calling the play-by-play.
