Marlies to Play Family Day Game at Air Canada Centre

The Toronto Marlies announced Wednesday that the team's home game on Monday, February 17 against the Texas Stars, AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars, will be played at Air Canada Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Marlies will also play at Air Canada Centre on Thursday, December 26 when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. In their lone game at Air Canada Centre last season, Toronto defeated Hamilton by a score of 3-2 in front of a sold out crowd. The attendance of 18,800 marked the highest in Marlies franchise history.

2013-14 will be the fifth consecutive season that the Marlies have played an afternoon home game on Family Day. Toronto has posted a record of 2-1-0-1 over the previous four years.

Tickets for the Family Day game will go on sale beginning Monday, December 9 and can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca. Ticket prices for this game will remain consistent with the Marlies regular season pricing model.
