Hogs Host Milwaukee on Dollar Night Tonight

Rockford, Ill.- Second place in the Midwest Division is up for grabs tonight as the third place Rockford IceHogs (10-10-1-0) host the second place Milwaukee Admirals (9-4-3-1) at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7 p.m. The IceHogs trail the Admirals by only one point in the standings.

Tonight's game is a WXRX Dollar Day. Fans can purchase hot dogs, soda, beer and companion tickets for just $1. To purchase tickets, call (815) 968-5222, online through IceHogs.com or in person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet.

WXRX is also offering a ticket package for tonight's game as fans can buy a ticket, hot dog and refillable ($1) cup for $15 at the Box Office. Fans can also purchase IceHogs jerseys with customization for half off at Oink Outfitters.

You can tune into tonight's game against the Admirals beginning at 6:30 p.m. with IceHogs Warm Up on Antenna TV 23.2, Comcast channel 436, Charter 970, Mediacom 101 or online at AHLlive.com.

Despite playing in just ten games for the IceHogs on the season, left winger Jeremy Morin is sixth in points (11) on the team and tied for first in goals with six. The Auburn, New York native was reassigned to Rockford on Tuesday. Defenseman Klas Dahlbeck also has six goals and has 12 points (6g-6a) on the season, both professional career highs.

After going on a five-game point streak (3g-4a-7pts) for Milwaukee, rookie centerman Colton Sissons has been held without a point in three straight games. The North Vancouver, British Columbia native leads the Admirals in points (13) and goals (7), and is tied for third in assists (6).

Fans can receive $5 off a ticket to tonight's game at the box office if they are sporting a beard or moustache for Brovember.

Also at tonight's game, the IceHogs and ESPN 1380 have teamed up to start an equipment drive to benefit the Stateline Boys and Girls Club. All gently used or new sports equipment will be accepted, including bats, balls, gloves, sticks, helmets, skates, cleats, shoes, etc... Sports apparel will not be accepted. All fans that participate by bringing an article of sports gear to the BMO will receive a special ticket offer (buy one ticket, get one free) for any IceHogs home game through January 10th.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Nov. 30 vs. Chicago Wolves. Puck drop is 7 p.m. The IceHogs host the Wolves in the third Illinois Lottery Cup game of the season. The first 2,500 adults (21+) to the BMO will receive a scarf courtesy of Bud Light. The game will also be Teddy Bear Toss Night. The IceHogs encourage fans to bring teddy bears to the game and throw them on the ice after the first IceHogs goal. The teddy bears will be donated to local charities and hospitals.
