Crunch Sign Forward Philip-Michael Devos to PTO

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have signed forward Philip-Michael Devos to a professional tryout contract, Crunch General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Devos, 23, has appeared in 14 games for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL this season; recording nine points (1g, 8a). The Sorel-Tracy, QC native appeared in 70 regular season games with the Crunch last season, where he posted 26 points (7g, 19a). Devos appeared in 18 games, collecting five assists, during the Crunch's run to the 2013 Calder Cup Finals. The 5-foot-11, 184-pound forward has appeared in 122 regular season AHL games with the Crunch and Norfolk Admirals and has tallied 50 career points (14g, 36a). He has appeared in 27 Calder Cup playoff games with Syracuse and Norfolk totaling seven playoff points.

Devos is expected to be available when the Crunch travel to face the Binghamton Senators tonight.
