IceGators at UBS blood drive Tuesday
October 14, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA â Louisiana IceGators Bruce Richardson and Daniel Goneau will sign autographs Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at United Blood Services at 1503 Bertrand Drive. The IceGators encourage Acadiana to donate blood Tuesday, as UBS lost most of its blood supply during Hurricane Lili. Richardson is in his second season with the IceGators, having also played with the team in 2000-01. Daniel Goneau, a childhood friend of Richardson's, is a former New York Ranger who is in his first season with Louisiana. Each had one assist in Saturday's 6-5 season-opening win over Arkansas.
While giving blood you can register to win one of two sets of four tickets for Friday's home-opener against Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Louisiana also plays at home Saturday at 7:05 p.m. versus Baton Rouge. Tickets are on sale now at the Cajundome Box Office and through Ticketmaster. A reminder to fans holding tickets to last Sunday's originally scheduled home opener (October 13). Friday is the deadline to either trade in your tickets for Friday's game or to get a full refund at your place of purchase.
