Reading's Brian McCullough Named InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Atlantic City¹s Scott Stirling is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for October 11-13.

The 2001 ECHL Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year, Stirling was 2-0 with a shutout, a 1.45 goals against average and a .951 save percentage in two starts.

The 25-year-old Stirling made 23 saves in regulation and stopped all four shooters in the shootout as Atlantic City opened the season with a 4-3 shootout win against Roanoke on Friday, and he made 35 saves in Saturday¹s 3-0 win against Richmond.

In the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs, Stirling was 6-2 with a postseason-leading two shutouts while ranking second with a 1.86 goals against average as Atlantic City advanced to the Northern Conference Finals. He was 28-13-3 with a 2..65 goals against average and a .918 save percentage during the 2001-02 regular season.

Runners-Up: Mike Morris, Columbus (1 gp, 1-0, 0.92 GAA, .976 save pct.) and Daniel Berthiaume (2 gp, 2-0, 1.44 GAA, .949 save pct.)
