What Happened Last week
The Ice Pilots went 0-3 this past week. The Ice Pilots lost at home vs. Jackson last Tuesday night 4-2. The Ice Pilots lost at Louisiana on Friday night 4-1. Matt Poapst scored the only goal of the game for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots finished the week with a 6-3 loss at Mississippi on Saturday night. Greg Pankewicz scored two goals in the game for the Ice Pilots and Mike Jones scored the other goal. Maxime Gingras was in goal for all three games for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots begin the week with a record of 33-24-6 for 72 points which is good for third place in the Southwest Division. The Ice Pilots have the same record after 63 games that they had last year after 63 games.
PLAYOFF RACE
The top five teams in the Southwest Division qualify for the playoffs. The number 4 and number 5 team will play in a one game playoff and the winner will play the number one team in the opening round and number two will play number three. REMAINING SCHEDULE HAS 7 OUT OF 9 GAMES AGAINST DIVISIONAL OPPONENTS
The Ice Pilots will play 7 out of their final 9 games against divisional opponents. The Ice Pilots have two games left vs. Mississippi with both games at home, one home game left with Louisiana, 2 games left with Arkansas with all 2 away and 2 games left with Jackson with one at home and one away. The Ice Pilots play one game home and away vs. Columbus.
NEXT HOME GAMES ARE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AND ST. PATRICK'S DAY
The Ice Pilots will play home to Mississippi on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. and will play home to Louisiana on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will also play home on Monday, St. Patrick's Day vs. Jackson at 6:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 4-5-1 vs. Mississippi this season including 2-2 at home and 2-3-1 on ! the road. The Ice Pilots have a record of 5-4-1 vs. Louisiana this season including a record of 4-1 at home and 1-3-1 on the road. PROMOTIONS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT
It is Mediacom Cable Night on Friday night when the Ice Pilots play Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Fans who bring their Mediacom Cable Bill to the game on Friday night can receive half price on a $13 and $10 ticket up to four tickets for each cable bill. The first 3,000 fans on Saturday night vs. Louisiana at 7:05 p.m. will receive Pom Poms sponsored by Jackson Hewitt. A post game autograph session will take place with the entire team. It is also Protect and Serve Night with Police, Fire and Rescue departments and Pensacola City Employees Night.
PROMOTIONS FOR MONDAY'S ST. PATRICK'S DAY GAME VS. JACKSON AT 6:05 P.M.
The first 3,000 fans will receive Baptist Hospital Beach Safety Packs. Also fans can buy one and get one free voucher for the game at any Super Lube location.

Ryan O'Keefe and Kevin Cloutier will Meet and Greet at the Milton Library on Tuesday from 4 p.m. 5 p.m. The Ice Pilots will be participating in the WSRE Telethon on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. 10:30 p.m. Maxime Gingras, Rich Spiller, Matt Poapst, Eric Van Acker, Marquis Mathieu, Chris Minard, Brian Eklund, Kerry Ellis-Toddington, Marek Priechodsky and Kent Sauer will participate. Maxime Gingras and Marquis Mathieu will conduct a Street Hockey Clinic at Hill Kelly Dodge on Wednesday from 3 p.m. 5 p.m. located on Pensacola Blvd on Wednesday. Greg Pankewicz and Louis Dumont will be signing autographs at Schlotsky's Deli on Davis Highway on Wednesday from 6 p.m. 7 p.m. Jeremy Van Hoof and Gregor Baumgartner will be conducting a Street Hockey Clinic on Thursday at Sonic in Gulf Breeze from 3 p.m. 4:30 p.m.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center Box Office, at any Ticketmaste! r location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. Individual game tickets cost $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for goals and lower upper and $10 for upper level tickets. Season tickets are available for the full season, 16 game plan, 8 game plan and flex package. Fans can call the Ice Pilots office for ticket information at 432-PUCK.
ICE PILOTS TO HOLD PLAYOFF PEP RALLY/JERSEY AUCTION AT SEVILLE QUARTER ON MARCH 25TH
The Ice Pilots will hold a Playoff Pep Rally/Jersey Auction at Seville Quarter on Tuesday, March 25th from 5:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m. The Ice Pilots third game jerseys will be auctioned off. The entire team and coaching staff will be at the Pep Rally/Jersey Auction. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and cheer for them at the Pep Rally as the Ice Pilots have qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fifth time in the team's seven year history.
KELLY CUP PLAYOFF STRIPS ON SALE
Kelly Cup Playoff Strips are on sale for all 15 potential home games by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825. The cost for all 15 potential home games is $288 for Glass seats, $221.85 for Blue Lines and Sides, $202.50 for Goals and Lower upper level seats, $162 for Upper Level seats and $221.85 for wheelchair seats. INDIVIDUAL KELLY CUP PLAYOFF TICKETS TO GO ON SALE MONDAY, MARCH 24TH
Individual Kelly Cup Playoff tickets will go on sale to the public Monday, March 24th. The cost is $24 for Glass seats, $17 for Blue Lines and Sides, $15 for Goals and Lower Upper level seats, $12 for Upper level seats and $17 for Wheelchair seats. ICE PILOTS NEW YEAR ROUND SEASON TICKET PACKAGE
The Ice Pilots are now offering year round payments for season tickets. Season tickets for the 16 game plan on a 6 month payment plan are as follows: $15 seats (sides) are $35.99 per month, $13 seats (behind the goals and lower upper level) are $32.99 per month, $10 seats (upper level) are $24.99 per month. The following is a list of prices for full season tickets on a 12 month payment plan: $22 seats (floor and glass) are $49.99 per month, $15 seats (sides) are $35.99 per month, $13 seats (behind the goals and lower upper level) are $32.99 per month, $10 seats (upper level) are $24.99 per month.
Group Tickets
Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receives two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out an MVP card, (cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).
Birthday Parties
Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hotdogs, cokes, cupcakes, 10 game tickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. Ice Pilots top scorers
Greg Pankewicz is the top scorer for the Ice Pilots with 73 points and leads the team with 39 goals. Pankewicz is first in the league with 39 goals and is first in the league with 295 shots on goal. Pankewicz is ninth in the league in scoring with his 73 points. Louis Dumont leads the tea! m with 48 assists. Brad Dexter is the fifth leading scoring defenseman in the league with 47 points. Maxime Gingras is second in the league in minutes played with 2953 and second in the league with 1572 saves.
Player of the week nominees
Greg Pankewicz has been nominated for player of the week and Maxime Gingras has been nominated for goalie of the week.
Practice Schedule for week
The Ice Pilots will have an off ice work out on Monday and will have an off ice work out on Tuesday. The Ice Pilots will practice at the Civic Center on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. and will practice at the Civic Center on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre-skate on Friday at 10 a.m. and play home to Mississippi on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Saturday at 10 a.m. and play home to Louisiana at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots tentatively will have a practice on Sunday morning and will have a pre skate on Monday, March 17th at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will play home to Jackson on St. Patrick's Day at 6:05 p.m.
Dumont Third All-Time Leading Scorer in the ECHL
Ice Pilots forward Louis Dumont is currently ranked third in the league as the third All-Time leading scorer with 667 career points. Dumont is 18 points behind former Ice Pilots assistant coach Darryl Noren for second place. Noren has 685 points. Rod Taylor is the All-Time leading scorer in the league setting the record this season with 689 points. Taylor signed with Peoria over the weekend.
Columbus Game Time Changes
The Ice Pilots games at Columbus has been changed. The new starting time for the games on Saturday, March 29th is 6:30 p.m. central time.
Assigned Players from Tampa Bay and Springfield
The Ice Pilots have four assigned pro players from Tampa Bay of the NHL. They are defensemen Jeremy Van Hoof, Marek Priechodsky and goalie Brian Eklund. Harlan Pratt is currently playing for Cincinnati of the AHL. Forward Chris Gignac, defenseman Brad Dexter and goalie Maxime Gingras are assigned from Springfield of ! the AHL.

The Ice Pilots Coach's Radio show is at Sal's Pizza Pub and Grill this season located at 620 E. Nine Mile Road. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on WCOA AM 1370 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet Ice Pilots Head Coach Todd Gordon, Assistant Coach Ray Edwards and Ice Pilots President Charles Felix. The player guests for the radio show tonight are Marquis Mathieu and Eric Van Acker.
