1/9/04 > Long Beach 3 vs. Texas 5

The Ice Dogs dropped their fourth game in a row Friday night, in the first ever meeting with the Texas Wildcatters. Nolan Graham scored his first goal as an Ice Dog and Trevor Read and Nick Ganga each had a goal and an assist. Lucas Smital had two goals for Texas which won for just the third time all season on the road. Colin Zulianello made his first start for the Ice Dogs in six games, making 23 saves in the loss.

1/10/04 > Long Beach 4 vs. Texas 3 (OT)

The Ice Dogs got revenge on Saturday night, downing the Texas Wildcatters 4-3 in overtime. Alex Kim scored his first goal with the Ice Dogs and it couldn't have come at a better time, with 49 seconds remaining in the overtime period. He also added an assist on one of John McNabb's two goals in the game. Lucas Smital again had two goals for Texas. Mark Scally made his first career start with Texas and had 35 saves despite giving up the game winner in the extra period. The win snapped the Ice Dogs four game losing streak.

1/11/04 > Long Beach 2 vs. Idaho 3

Long Beach fell to Idaho Sunday night, despite having the lead twice in the game. Alex Kim got the Ice Dogs on the board with a shorthanded goal just 1:21 into the game, and Darren Partch gave them a 2-1 lead early in the third, but two Steelheads power play goals just 38 seconds apart sealed the Idaho victory.

1/16/04 > Long Beach @ Idaho

The Ice Dogs will travel to Boise to take on the Idaho Steelheads on Friday night. The Steelheads defeated the Ice Dogs 3-2 on Sunday and currently lead the Pacific Division. The Ice Dogs will be trying to win in Idaho for the first time since November 23, 2001. Long Beach has a record of 3-12-0 in Idaho over the last three seasons.

1/18/04 > Long Beach @ Idaho

The Ice Dogs and Steelheads will face off again on Sunday in the teams' third straight meeting. Long Beach will be looking to keep Idaho from gaining any more steam in the Pacific Division lead. Long Beach and Idaho will meet four more times this season.
