Express Forward Dusbabek Returns

ROANOKE, VA – Roanoke Express Head Coach Tony MacAulay announced today that right wing Joe Dusbabek has returned to the Express from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

The 25-year-old Dusbabek played in two games with the Sound Tigers, the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, and did not pick up any points. The call-up was the Fairbault, Minnesota native's first of his career. Dusbabek has picked up 10 goals and 19 assists in 33 games with the Express this season. The former Notre Dame University standout has played his entire professional career with Roanoke, and has picked up 153 points (59 g, 94 a) in 210 games. Dusbabek will be back in uniform for Friday and Saturday's games in Florida against the Everblades.

The Roanoke Express returns to action at the Roanoke Civic Center on Sunday, January 25 at 4:00 p.m. when it hosts the Reading Royals and again on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. to host the Greenville Grrrowl. For group or season ticket information call (540) 343-4500.
