
Express makes first off-season roster move

ROANOKE, VA â Roanoke Express Head Coach Tony MacAulay announced today that forward Andrew McPherson has been traded to the Trenton Titans. The trade completes the deal that brought defenseman Shaun Fisher to the Express from the Titans back on February 28.
McPherson skated in 70 games with the Express this past season, notching 37 points (17g, 20a). The 25-year-old native of Winnipeg, Manitoba was in his first season with Roanoke and in his second season professionally overall. A former 9th round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins, McPherson has also played with Wheeling and Charlotte of the ECHL in his career.
Fisher saw action in the final 14 Express games and compiled 11 points (3g, 8a). Overall the 25-year-old Detroit native collected 20 points (5g, 15a) in 49 games with three teams last season.
