
Pride to play two pre-season contests

FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today that the team will play two pre-season contests in preparation for the 2004-2005 season.
On Friday, October 16, the Pride will hit the road, traveling to Columbia for a 7:30 match-up with the defending Southern Division champion Inferno. Pee Dee and Columbia will square off eight times during the 2004-2005 regular season.
The following night, the Pride wrap-up the pre-season schedule with their lone home exhibition game, taking on the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den. The Pride and Stingrays also face-off eight times in the regular season. All Pride season-ticket holders will receive a free ticket to the home pre-season game.
Pee Dee opens the 2004-2005 regular season on Friday, October 22, hosting the Roanoke Express at 7:30 p.m. The Pride continue their season opening three-game home stand on Saturday, October 23, taking on the Greensboro Generals at 7:30 p.m., and on Tuesday, October 26 with a 7:00 match-up with the Gwinnett Gladiators.
