Grrrowl swap forwards with Cyclones

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that MIKE HENDERSON (F) has been traded to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL for rookie forward MARK CONCANNON. Concannon will be in uniform when the Grrrowl host the Columbus Cottonmouths on Tuesday night at the BI-LO Center.

CONCANNON (6-1, 190lbs.) was a third round selection (#83 overall) by the San Jose Sharks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 59 games this season with Cincinnati, totaling 24 points (9G, 15A) and 44 penalty minutes. Mark played college hockey at University of Massachusetts – Lowell, and graduated in 2003.

HENDERSON had played in 56 games with the Grrrowl, contributing 28 points (13G, 15A) and 11 penalty minutes. Mike will be returning to Cincinnati where he had played 91 games during the 2001-02, and 2002-03 seasons.

The Grrrowl host three games at the BI-LO Center this week, beginning with Tuesday night against Columbus, and a back-to-back home stand with the Louisiana IceGators on Saturday (7:05pm) and Sunday (3:05pm).
