Toledo Walleye News Release
- Morten Ask collected 5 points this week, scoring 2 goals and adding 3 assists. With his assist on Sunday, Morten extended his point streak to a Storm season high six games.
- Marco Charpentier attempted Toledo's first penalty shot of the year Saturday in Johnstown. He beat goaltender David Currie on the chance.
- Defenseman Paul Ballantyne has netted a goal in three straight games. His 2 goals Sunday, was the third time this season that Paul has scored 2 goals in a game.
- Jim Abbott is the team leader in points with a combined total of 47 (23-24). Morten Ask has 28 assists, which is tops for the team.
- Johnstown racked up 53 shots against the Storm Saturday night. It was the most Toledo had allowed since the 53 by Peoria on October 18th.
- Toledo had a streak of 18 straight games with 30 plus shots snapped Saturday night in Johnstown.
- The Storm has a record of 18-6-3 when scoring 3 or more goals in a game this season.
- Toledo has 32 power play goals in 255 attempts (12.5%). Toledo is ranked 28th in the ECHL on the power play. The Storm has a record of 11-7-5 when scoring a power play goal.
