Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release

FLORENCE, SC – The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today that the team will hold "Mac and Cheese" Night this Friday, March 5, when they host the Greensboro Generals at 7:30 p.m.

The Pride have teamed up with Piggly Wiggly, located in the Florence Mall, and Harris Teeter, 1930 W. Palmetto St., to collect boxes of macaroni and cheese for the Manna House. Fans are encouraged to purchase macaroni and cheese at either Piggly Wiggly or Harris Teeter, and to bring the boxes to the game on Friday.

During the game, fans can use the boxes of macaroni and cheese as noisemakers. As fans leave the building following the game, representatives from the Manna House will be on hand to collect the boxes of macaroni and cheese.

"This is a great promotion, and we are honored to be a part of it," said Harris Teeter Manager Robert Capps. "We are looking forward to a great response from Pride fans on Friday night."

"The Manna House does a lot of great work for our community," said Piggly Wiggly Manager Tim Parrott. "They depend on the generosity of others to do their work. We are proud to partner with the Florence Pride for Mac and Cheese Night to help the Manna House help others."

The Pride are back in action Thursday, hosting the Columbus Cottonmouths at 7:00 p.m. Florence wraps up its three-game home weekend Sunday afternoon, hosting the Charlotte Checkers at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday Kids' Day. Tickets for kids 12 and under are available for just $2.50, and kids' meals will be available for an additional $2.50.

Tickets for all remaining Pride home games are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, or through TicketMaster at (843) 679-9333 or www.ticketmaster.com.
