Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies have their work cut out for them when they meet the Chicago Wolves tonight at the 'E' Center for the first of a two-game series. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 pm (mst). Utah has lost eight straight games to Chicago dating back to last year.

Utah (14-23-4-3) has lost three straight coming into tonight's contest. The Grizzlies have failed to overcome the Wolves this season, and goaltender Kari Lehtonen in particular, during the teams'first four meetings. Lehtonen has collected three of those wins, blanking the Grizzlies twice.

Chicago (21-14-6-3), in contrast, won their last two games decisively. The Wolves have racked up 19 goals in their last five games while doing everything offensively that Utah has struggled to do of late. Seven different Wolves have scored at least four points in their last five outings. Eric Healey, Brian Swanson and Brendan Yarema alone have combined for 17 points in those contests. The Wolves have also been utilizing their power play opportunities, converting 7-for-22 over their last three games.

The Grizzlies will meet the Wolves again tomorrow night. That game will be televised locally on UPN's Z-24 at 7:00 pm (mst).
