January 23, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release

With a Philadelphia Phantoms win over Bridgeport this evening in regulation, the BEARS can move back into first place tonight with a victory at Wachovia Arena over the Penguins. HERSHEY trails Bridgeport by just one point in the standings after a 2-0 shutout win over Springfield Wednesday night at GIANT Center. Bridgeport lost to the last place Albany River Rats last night at Pepsi Arena 2-1. The BEARS announced today that forward Judd Medak has been recalled from the Reading Royals (ECHL). He takes the lineup spot occupied by Gavin Morgan, who will miss at least two weeks with a facial injury suffered Wednesday night.

Tonight's game is being broadcast by the HERSHEY'S flagship radio station, BIG 92.7 FM. John Walton calls the action from Wachovia Arena beginning with the pre-game show at 6:45 p.m.
