Columbus Reassigns Jackman to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (January 23, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned right wing Tim Jackman to Syracuse.

Jackman, 22, has appeared in seven games with Columbus this recording two penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on December 20 @ Minnesota. In 35 games with Syracuse, Jackman has recorded 12 goals, 8 assists and 21 penalty minutes. A native of Minot, North Dakota, Jackman was drafted by Columbus with their second choice, 38th overall, in the 2001 Entry Draft.

Syracuse travels to Houston on Saturday, January 24 (8 p.m. EST) and San Antonio on Sunday, January 25 (6 p.m. EST) for their first-ever appearance in both cities.
