Ducks and Bulldogs fit to be tied

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Pierre Parenteau scored the tying goal with 39 seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 2-2 tie with the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.

Alexei Smirnov also scored for Cincinnati, which earned a point for the ninth time in its last 10 games (5-1-3-1).

Benjamin Carpentier and Francois Beauchemin had first period goals for the Bulldogs, who are unbeaten in their last three games (2-0-1-0).

Ilya Bryzgalov finished with 27 saves for Cincinnati, while Olivier Michaud had 23 stops for Hamilton.

The Ducks wrap up a two-game series with Hamilton and a five-game home stand at 7:35 p.m. Saturday at Cincinnati Gardens.
