Binghamton Senators News Release
BINGHAMTON, New York â The Binghamton Senators announced today that right wing Nathan Gilles (GIHL-eez) has been signed to a 25-game professional tryout agreement today.
Gillies, a 5'10, 190 lb. first year pro from Cambridge, ON, is tied for fifth in scoring on the Elmira Jackals (UHL) with 21 points and his 14 goals ranks third on the club.
Gillies scored twice in the Jackals' 4-2 win over league-leading Muskegon last night at First Arena in Elmira. It was Gillies' third, two-goal game in his last six contests.
During his four-year collegiate career at Union College (ECAC), Gillies appeared in 119 contests with 33+46=79 totals and captained the Dutchmen in his senior season (2002-03).
After signing a UHL contract with Elmira in September, Gillies attended the Bridgeport Sound Tigers training camp.
