CINCINNATI, Ohio - The American Hockey League's Cincinnati RailRaiders announced today the club's schedule of events during the 2005-06 season. The efforts will begin Sunday, November 13 and continue throughout the hockey season. The RailRaiders campaign focuses on staying connected with fans throughout Greater Cincinnati during a season without a season at Cincinnati Gardens. The RailRaiders schedule of events includes the following important dates:

Los Angeles Kings at Columbus Blue Jackets Road Trip
Catch the action when the Columbus Blue Jackets face-off against the Los Angeles Kings Sunday, November 13 at 5 p.m. at the Nationwide Arena. The first road trip package includes bus transportation from Hooters in Springdale (bus departs at 2 p.m.), game ticket with stadium meal and a RailRaiders t-shirt. Cost is $50 per person. Queen City Classic Hockey Tournament
See the next generation of future hockey stars at the first of three elite youth hockey tournaments to be held at Cincinnati Gardens. This three-day tournament features local and out-of-town teams. Free and open to the general public. Schedule to be announced.

Team USA Women vs. Team Canada Women Exhibition Game
Who can forget the Team USA women's hockey team winning the gold medal in 1998, the first gold medal ever awarded to a women's hockey team? The RailRaiders are offering the chance to see Team USA Women as they gear up for a medal run in the 2006 Winter Games when they take on fierce rivals Team Canada Women at 5 p.m. at Nationwide Arena in Columbus. Business of Sports: Hockey Symposium featuring ESPN's Barry Melrose
The RailRaiders offer a glimpse into the business of hockey with their first-ever symposium featuring ESPN's Barry Melrose along with a panel of hockey supporters from the corporate world including GM, NovaCare and Bud, and a panel of true fans who share why they care about hockey. The event will be held at the Millennium Hotel (3-7 p.m.). Cost is $40 per person and includes food and beverage and a post-symposium social event. For reservations, call (513) 351-3999.

World Beer Tasting at Cincinnati Gardens
Take a trip around the world of beers at the World Beer Tasting presented by the RailRaiders Thursday, December 8. This after-work event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens and feature 12 beer tastings, live entertainment and early holiday shopping opportunities. Cost

Saves for Life: Youth Hockey Event
The RailRaiders will host local youth hockey players in this hands-on introduction to safe hockey play featuring stations and interactive drills Friday, December 30 from 1-4 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens. Sticks & Chicks: Hockey for Women
Two-line passes, power plays, popularity of the mullet and the biggest trophy in sports: Stanley Cup...all of the questions you've ever wanted to ask and were afraid. The RailRaiders will host a girls night out to learn the basics of hockey. Women will learn the rules of the game and hit the ice. Moeller Hockey Doubleheader
Moeller hockey takes over the Gardens in this doubleheader of hockey. The first game will begin at 5 p.m. and feature Moeller alumni against local firefighters with the second game at 7:30 p.m. showcasing the best in high school talent against the 2005-06 Moeller HS team. Mighty Ducks of Anaheim at Chicago Blackhawks Road Trip
All aboard for this weekend road trip riding the rails to Chicago on a private train car for St. Patrick's Day and a Mighty Ducks of Anaheim versus Chicago Blackhawks game. Open to the first 30 people, this three-day trip departs from Cincinnati Thursday, March 16 arriving in Chicago the morning of Friday, March 17 and leaves Chicago the morning of Sunday, March 19. The train car will sit below the Sears Tower on Michigan Avenue and serve as your hotel for the weekend. On Friday, March 17, the group will attend the hockey game. Cost per person is $1,500 and includes rail transportation, train car accommodations, food and beverage for the weekend and a ticket to the game at the United Center.
