Overview: The Cyclones wrap up their three-game road trip, and weekend series with the Quad City Mallards on Saturday night. Cincinnati fell, 6-2, on Friday night, snapping their four-game winning streak. Saturday also marks the second of six games over a nine day period.

Last Night Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (25-20-3-2) fell to the Quad City Mallards, 6-2, on Saturday night. Forwards Nick Huard and Branden Gracel scored the goals for the Cyclones, who see their four-game winning streak snapped. The Cyclones were outshot on the night, 35-27, with goaltender Andy Iles stopping 25 to take the loss. Netminder Brandon Whitney came in in relief to start the third, and he stopped four of the six shots he saw.

Sunday Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (25-19-3-2) picked up a 4-3 overtime win over the Evansville IceMen on Sunday evening. Forwards Nick Huard, Zach Budish, and Peter Quenneville scored the goals in regulation, while forward Tommy Mele recorded the game winner in overtime for the Cyclones. The Cyclones outshot Evansville, 45-37 on the night, including a combined 23-9 in the third period and overtime. Cyclones netminder Andy Iles stopped 34 shots he faced, while the power play converted on two of three chances.

Saturday Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (24-19-3-2) collected their third straight win, with a 2-0 victory over the Evansville IceMen on Saturday night. Forwards Nick Huard and Zach Budish scored the goals for the Cyclones, while netminder Andy Iles earned his first shutout of the season. Cincinnati outshot Evansville, 35-31 on the night, and neither team recorded a penalty in the game, marking the lowest-combined penalty total for the Cyclones this season.

Previewing Quad City: The Mallards have won three straight, and five of their last seven overall. They are led by forward Matt Neal, who has totaled 34 points (12g, 22a) through 50 games this season. He is followed by forwards Olivier Archambault (10g, 18a), and Mike Monfredo (5g, 23a) who round out the top three.

Inside the Series: Saturday will be the sixth of 11 matchups this season between Cincinnati and Quad City, with the Cyclones posting a 2-2-1-0 mark in the first five meetings. Cincinnati has dropped both meetings in Quad City this season, and four of the final six meetings this season will be played in Quad City.

Next Game Preview: The Cyclones head back home for the first of four straight at U.S. Bank Arena on Tuesday, when they welcome in the Evansville IceMen. The Cyclones took the last meeting between the two sides, a 4-3 overtime win last Sunday in Evansville, and Tuesday will also mark the final home game of the season with the IceMen.
