Last night, the Jackals and Thunder battled in a goaltenders duel with each team scoring once in the second period, but that would be all until the shootout. C.J. Drew Fielding turned aside 43 of 44 shots faced and one of three shootout attempts suffering the loss. Justin Bernhardt recorded an assist extending his point streak to four games. In the previous meeting, Elmira exploded for eight goals in Glens Falls, tying a season-high for goals scored in a single game and setting a new mark for their winning margin. Eleven different Jackals registered at least one point including multi-point games for Chris Langkow, Allan McPherson, Tyler Currier, Zach Cohen, Jacob MacDonald, and Justin Bernhardt, while C.J. Motte turned aside all 28 Thunder shots to earn his second shutout of the season.
