Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Allen Americans rallied to tie the game in the third period, sending the game to overtime, but it was the Tulsa Oilers coming out on top as Dan DeSalvo fired one past Joel Rumpel with six seconds left in the extra session to give Tulsa a 5-4 overtime victory.

Chad Costello led the way for Allen with two goals, his 20th and 21st of the year. David Makowski, who tied the score at 4-4 in the third period added his 9th, while Justin Courtnall scored his second shorthanded goal in seven days for his 6th of the season. However, it wasn't enough, as Allen would go down in defeat.

The Americans outshot the Oilers 35-31 for the game, including 10-6 in the third period, but it was Tulsa grabbing control in overtime and outshooting the Americans 6-2. Allen went 1 for 3 with the man advantage while Tulsa was 0 for 1.

The same two teams meet tomorrow afternoon at 4:05 pma at the BOK Center. Allen returns home a week from tonight to meet the Wichita Thunder on February 27th.
