Race

With last night's win, the Mallards moved into eighth place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Colorado Eagles- who fell at Kalamazoo- and the Indy Fuel- which was idle last night. The Mallards can tie the Cyclones for second place in the division and seventh place in the conference with a regulation win tonight.

Four Score

The Mallards last night matched their largest margin of victory this season. They first won by four goals when they blanked the Rapid City Rush 4-0 on February 3.

Welcome Home

The Mallards last night kicked off a seven game homestand- their longest homestand of the season- in style. They have now won three straight home games and have taken five of their last six home contests.

Strong Start

Follmer scored the first goal just 1:12 into last night's game and the Mallards went on to build a 4-0 lead over the first two periods.

Even Steven

The Mallards set a team season high by scoring all six of their goals at even strength last night.

Shooting Gallery

The Mallards last night matched a season best by allowing just two Cyclone shots in the first period. The Mallards went on to outshoot Cincinnati 29-12 over the first two periods (14-2 in the first; 15-10 in the second) and 35-26 for the game. The Mallards have now held the opposition to two shots in a period twice in three games. The Oilers registered just a pair of shots in the first period of the Mallards' 4-3 overtime win last Saturday in Tulsa.

Rookie Warning last night enjoyed his first career three-point game and scored twice in the same game for the second time this season. He first scored two goals on November 27 in the Mallards' 3-1 win over Kalamazoo.

Foll Tilt

Follmer has scored three times in regulation in the Mallards' last two games and has found the net a total of four times in those two contests- he scored the deciding shootout goal Tuesday in the Mallards' 2-1 shootout win over the Thunder in Wichita.

Helping Hand

Matt Neal has set up both all three of Follmer's goals over the Mallards' last two games and has now picked up four assists in his last three games.

Perfect 10

Brady Brassart scored what proved to be the game winning goal last night and added an assist and has now recorded ten points (three goals and seven assists) in his last ten games.

Accentuate the Positive

Mike Monfredo not only picked up an assist last night but also posted a team season high plus/minus rating of +4. Darren McMillan- who also had an assist- and Austin Coldwell were both +3 last night.

Debut

Cody Beach made his Mallard debut last night after being assigned to the Mallards from Chicago (AHL) by St. Louis (NHL) yesterday.

Return

Zach Pochiro (upper body) was activated from 21-day injured reserve yesterday and returned to the lineup last night after missing the Mallards' prior 20 games.
