December 6, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, are proud to announce that their Athletic Trainer Bob Case has reached his 1,000th career regular season game tonight.
Case is in his 27th year as an athletic trainer, and his 10th season with the Cyclones. In addition to his two championships in Cincinnati, the Park Hills, Ky. native has been a member of three other title teams during his career and has twice been named the athletic trainer for the ECHL All-Star Game (2004 and 2010). He was honored as the ECHL's Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2012-13. He currently works on assignment for Novacare, a part of U.C. Health, the Official Medical Team of the Cyclones. Case received a bachelor's degree in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from Morehead State University.
"We couldn't be more proud of Bob and the work that he's done over the years," said Cyclones General Manager Kristin Ropp. "To reach such an impressive milestone is a testament to his excellent work ethic, attitude, and experience."
"This milestone is a tribute to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism Bob has shown over a long career," said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna." One thousand games is a career milestone that has been achieved by very few in this field. The ECHL would like to congratulate Bob on a job well done!"
