Thunder Comeback Falls Short on 10th Anniversary Night

December 6, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Stockton Thunder News Release

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder hosted the Alaska Aces during the team's celebration of 10 seasons in the Central Valley. Captain Garet Hunt buried his first goal of the year in just his second game back from his stint on the injured reserve, but it wasn't enough as Brendan Connolly's 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) led Alaska to victory. The Thunder put 15 shots on goal in the third and scored twice but their comeback wasn't in the cards. Stockton will get one more chance at defeating the Aces Saturday night as the Thunder play the final game of a seven-game homestand and promote heart health awareness with the third annual Hockey with Heart event at Stockton Arena.
