Coyotes Reassign Three To Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 19, 2007) - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that NHL parent club, the Phoenix Coyotes, have recalled forwards Olivier Latendresse, Alex Leavitt and defenseman Sean Sullivan to the American Hockey League club.

Latendresse, who was reassigned back to Arizona yesterday, has registered one goal and 19 penalty minutes (PIM) in three games with the Rampage this season. The 21-year-old LaSalle, Quebec native has also collected 14 points (eight goals, six assists) and eight PIMs in 10 games with the Arizona Sundogs, the Rampage's Central Hockey League (CHL) affiliate.

Leavitt, 23, had a 10-game point streak running and was Arizona's leading scorer with 24 points (11g, 13a) through 13 games this season. He also has recorded one point (assist) in one game for San Antonio this year. The Edmonton, Alberta native recorded 20 points (10g, 10a) and a plus-14 rating in 16 games with the Rampage to close out the 2006-07 campaign after being acquired from Houston on Mar. 1, 2007. Leavitt won the CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week honor after scoring four assists and a plus-5 in his Rampage debut.

The 23-year-old Sullivan has compiled 14 points (4g, 10a) in 13 games with the Sundogs this season. The Boston, Mass. native made his professional debut with the Rampage on Mar. 29, 2007 after completing his collegiate career with Boston University. Selected by the Coyotes in the ninth round (272nd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Sullivan was named a Hockey East First Team All-Star for 2006-07. The senior captain was also tabbed as the league's Best Defensive Defenseman after finishing second amongst Terrier blueliners with 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) in 38 games played.
