WEEK 7 - RIVERMEN ACTION (0-2-0-0)
Friday, November 16 - RIVERMEN 1 vs. Houston Aeros 3
Paul Albers was in on all three Aeros goals, scoring once and setting up the remaining pair in Houston's 3-1 win over the Rivermen on Friday night. Martin Kariya scored the only goal of the game for the Rivermen, a second period marker that cut the deficit in half at 2-1 from Mike Glumac and Alex Hellstrom.
Saturday, November 17 - RIVERMEN 2 vs. San Antonio Rampage 4
The Rivermen came out flying in the opening 20 minutes to forge a 2-0 first period lead on goals by Nikolay Lemtyugov and Jeff Woywitka, with Trent Whitfield picking up assists on both markers. The following 40 minutes belonged to the Rampage, however, as they scored four unanswered goals to silence the hometown fans in a 4-2 win. Former Rivermen Jon DiSalvatore scored the game-winner against his old teammates at 14:03 of the third period.
