Tuesday, VICTORIA 5 vs. Condors 2
The Salmon Kings reeled off three straight goals in the second period and cruised to their first home win in team history, 5-2 over the Condors. Paul Rosebush and Brad Mehalko scored for Bakersfield in the losing effort. Condors C Krzysztof Wieckowski was sent to the hospital after a near-30 minute delay when he was sent crashing head first into the boards from an elbow from Victoria D Dale Purinton, who was ejected from the game.
Wednesday, VICTORIA 8 vs. Condors 6
Dale Purinton returned to the lineup for the Salmon Kings and had a goal and two assists in handing the Condors their second straight loss, 8-6. It was the most goals surrendered this season by the Condors and also the first time Bakersfield had scored four or more goals and lost. Kevin St. Jacques had 2g-2a and Brad Mehalko recorded 2g-1a in the losing effort.
Friday, FRESNO 5 vs. Condors 4 (SO)
Guy Dupuis' goal midway through the third period tied the game and forced overtime but the Condors couldn't pull through in the shootout, falling in Fresno 5-4. Brad Mehalko tallied for the fourth straight game to give him 12 on the year and Mehalko, Todd Alexander and Dennis Shiryaev all had multipoint games in the shootout loss. The Condors are 1-0-1 against Fresno this season.
Saturday, Greenville 4 vs. CONDORS 3; attn: 5,448
The Condors return to home ice did not bring Bakersfield back to their winning ways, surrendering a pair of leads and dropping a 4-3 contest to the visiting Greenville Grrrowl on Saturday. The Condors offense had difficulty solving Greenville netminder Mike Morrison, who stopped 44 shots in the win. David Kudelka, Luis Tremblay and Lars-Peder Nagel all scored for the Condors, who lost their first home game of the season.
Where we stand
The Condors are 13-4-3 on the season and in first place in the West Division with 29 points. Despite the 0-3-1 week, Bakersfield is still second in the conference in points and wins and maintains the second best record in the league overall.
What's up this week
The Condors head out on the road with a pair of games from Las Vegas on Thursday and Friday night with both games starting at 7:00 p.m. They return home on Saturday, December 18th against Idaho when fans will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight, sponsored by WB- TV 12 and The Big 96.5. Fans are asked to bring a pillow to the game, participate in the fight, and donate their pillows to the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter afterward. The current record is 2,773, set recently in September.

· Bakersfield had five different players make their Condors debuts this week.
· LW Brad Mehalko had his four-game goal scoring streak snapped on Saturday. He had scored five goals during the stretch and is tied for fourth in the league in goals.
· C Kevin St. Jacques extended his point streak to five games with an assist on Saturday. He has 2g-6a-8pts during the stretch, including a four point effort on Wednesday night. He's ranked third in the ECHL in assists (18) and tied for seventh in points (23).
· C Lars-Peder Nagel is tied for seventh among rookie scorers with 19 points.
· Despite going the last 14 games without a goal, rookie Chris Twerdun is tied for the league lead in goals by a defenseman (5).
· D Guy Dupuis is second in points (17) and tied for the lead in assists (13) among all ECHL defensemen.
· The Condors are sixth in the ECHL in average attendance (5,039 per game).
· Prior to this week, the Condors were 11-0-2 when scoring three or more goals. They scored at least three goals in three of their four games this week (0-2-1).
· Bakersfield allowed 22 goals in four games this week for a 5.50 goals against average. In the 16 games before that, the Condors had allowed only 39 goals (2.43). The goals allowed by Bakersfield in their last four games represent 36% of their season total.
