
Ice Pilots Play Four Games This Week, Home Friday and Saturday

Ice Pilots go 2-0-0 this past week. The Pensacola Ice Pilots posted a record of 2-0-0 this past week. The Ice Pilots defeated Texas twice at home on Friday night 2-0 and at Texas on Saturday night 3-2.
Tyler Beechey and Jade Galbraith scored the goals for the Ice Pilots on Friday night. Frederic Cloutier picked up his second shutout of the season in goal for the Ice Pilots stopping 29 shots.
Dwayne Hay scored two goals including the game winner and picked up an assist in the 3-2 win on Saturday night. Tyler Beechey scored a goal and had two assists. Todd Ford improved his record to 5-0 stopping 43 out of 45 shots in the win for the Ice Pilots.
Ice Pilots to play at Florida this Tuesday, December 14th at 6:30 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots defeated Florida 5-4 in their home opener on October 30t! h. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 16-21-1 vs. Florida including a record of 9-8-1 at home and 7-13-0 on the road.
The Ice Pilots will play home to Charlotte on Friday night and home to Louisiana on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play the Charlotte Checkers on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have an all time regular season record of 1-3-1 vs. Charlotte including 1-1-1 at home and 0-2-0 on the road. The Ice Pilots have not played Charlotte since the 1998-99 season.
The Ice Pilots will play home to Louisiana on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and will play at Louisiana on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 2-1 vs. Louisiana this season losing at home on November 5th 6-4, winning in overtime at Louisiana on November 6th 3-2 and winning at Louisiana on November 30th 2-1. The Ice Pilots have an all-time regular season record of 26-36-5 vs. the IceGators including a record of 17-12-4 at home and 9-24-1 on the road.
Promotions fo! r Friday and Saturday Night: Friday night is Blue Angels Night. The Bl ue Angels will be signing autographs from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The Ice Pilots will be wearing special Blue Angel Jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Santa Claus will be at the game on Saturday night as kids can get their picture taken with Santa Claus for free. The Ice Pilots will be teaming up with the Salvation Army and Cell Phones for Soldiers on both nights. The Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle Ringers will be at both games and the Ice Pilots will be collecting old cell phones for Cell Phones for Soldiers with Liberty Tax Service at both games.
Ice Pilots offer Home of the Holidays Ticket offer for games on Tuesday, December 28th vs. Florida and Thursday, December 30th vs. Charlotte at 7:05 p.m. Fans can buy one $13 or $15 ticket to the games on December 28th and December 30th and get one free. Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 20 points and is tied with Jordan ! Krestanovich for the team lead in goals with 7 and tied with Aarron Phillips for the team lead in assists with 12. Jordan Krestanovich is the second leading scorer for the Ice Pilots with 14 points. Corey Neilson and Aaron Phillips each have 13 points.
Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will travel to Florida Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have a practice in Florida on Monday and will have a pre skate at Florida on Tuesday at 11 a.m. and play the Everblades at 6:30 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will return home on Wednesday morning. The Ice Pilots will have a tentative practice on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Civic Center. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate Friday at 10 a.m. and play home to Charlotte at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Saturday at 10 a.m. and play home to Louisiana on Saturday. The Ice Pilots will leave after the game Saturday to play at Louisiana on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
Dodge Player of the Week:! Forward Tyler Beechey has been nominated for the ECHL player of the w eek as he scored two goals and picked up two assists this past week. Frederic Cloutier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Cloutier stopped all 29 shots for his second shutout of the season vs. Texas last Friday. Tyler Beechey has been named the Dodge/Ice Pilots Player of the Week.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com. Tyler Beechey is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 20 points and Jordan Krestanovich is second with 14 points.

Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have eight players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Dominic D'Amour and Kris Newbury have been recalled to St. John's of the AHL.
Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, esc! orts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Listen to games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with the new Ice Pilots Flagship radio home AM 1620: Fans can listen to Ice Pilots games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre game show for Tuesday night begins at 6:20 p.m. central time. Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.
Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. All four games this week are available on pay per view at www.icepilots.com with B2 Networks.
Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty! Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long. The Ice Pilots will be on the road this Monday night in Ft. Myers. The Ice Pilots next Coaches Radio Show from the Gutter Lounge is Monday, December 20th from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Cam Keith and Tyson Marsh will be the player guests.
