THE WEEK AHEAD
Thursday, December 16th @ South Carolina Stingrays
The Inferno is 2-1-1 this season against the Stingrays. Both teams are tied for third place with 23 points but the Inferno has 4 games at hand.
Friday, December 17th @ Gwinnett Gladiators
The last time these two teams met was last Saturday when the Inferno won 3-2. Gwinnett is in first place of the South Division with 28 points (12-5-4). The Inferno is 1-0-1 against the Gladiators this season.
Saturday, December 18th vs. Pee Dee Pride 7:30pm Carolina Coliseum
Pee Dee is in first place in the East Division with 30 points (14-6-2). Columbia is 1-1-0 this season against the Pride. The Inferno will face the Pride one more time this month on Tuesday, December 21st.

Friday, December 10th INFERNO 2 Louisiana 1
Walker McDonald and D'Arcy McConvey scored the two goals in the shootout to award the Inferno with a win at home against the Louisiana IceGators. Louisiana opened the scoring at 7:20 of the first period with a goal by David Baranuk as he caught goaltender Mike Minard down on the ice. After a scoreless second period, Eric Boulton scored at 16:29 of the third period on the power play with set up by Derek Eastman and Trevor Demmans.
Saturday, December 11th INFERNO 3 Gwinnett 2
D'Arcy McConvey scored two goals to lead the Inferno past the first place Gwinnett Gladiators 3-2. Columbia lit it up in the second period when the Inferno scored three unanswered goals. Bryson Busniuk scored his fifth goal of the season at 1:50 with help from Walker McDonald. McConvey scored the next two goals at 4:22 as the puck found the back of the net during a scuffle in front. He then scored again at 12:07 with a slapshot from the right side of goaltender Fields. Gwinnett added one more goal at 16:45 but could not hold on as the Inferno go on to win their seventh out of eight games in a row. Mike Minard still is unbeaten as he improves his record to 7-0-2.
